George is devoted to helping individuals, teams, and organizations develop the awareness required to exercise leadership at the complex intersection of culture and strategy. His systems-based philosophy is driven from his experience working in evolving organizations, teaching and researching leadership in academia, and from playing and coaching sports. George has extensive experience driving cultural transformation internally in global organizations, and as an independent coach and consultant.
George plays dual and complementary roles for Synthesis. He delivers coaching and workshops while also using his experience to speak openly with prospective customers about whether Synthesis’ products and services might be a fit for their organization.
George holds an AB in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University with an emphasis on team dynamics, and is an expert in Kegan & Lahey’s Immunity to Change Process and Heifetz’s Adaptive Leadership framework.
